The Most Lamentable Roman Tragedy of Titus Andronicus
Lead technical Designer
Second semester senior year, I was the Lead Technical Designer for the Purchase Conservatory of Theater's production of The Most Lamentable Roman Tragedy of Titus Andronicus by William Shakespeare. As LTD, I was responsible for drafting the scenic elements, particularly the large wooden ceiling sections rigged overhead. This construction was intricate for a few different reasons; the two separate framed pieces were large, but the precision of the rigging connection points needed to guarantee a smooth load-in. This show strengthened my drafting from knowledge of 3D AutoCAD to the way I designed my construction packets. Working with such a strong technical team made such a large and precise design not only possible, but an enjoyable experience to produce.
